It's time to clean up my diet and get back on track. I must admit, as delicious as the meals/treats were, I woke up at 3 am with a terrible tummy ache, testimony to how unaccustomed my body now is to such indulgences!

Since I was already awake, I figured I'd get up and make wise us of the early morning quiet.  We're home in Ormond this week so I'll have plenty of time to plan/shop/chop/cook, no excuses! I don't plan on eating out all week, really craving my own cooking!

Here's five days of recipes, allowing for a couple of leftover meals:

I'm also determined to get back into my exercise routine.  If I get to the beach early in the morning I can enjoy my walk before it's unbearably hot. When that's not possible, I have my trusty treadmill as backup.

We're down one car this week, the Hybrid needed some maintenance, so I'll have to drop Chip at work and then hit the grocery store.  More java, then off I go!

Have a wonderful Monday..

  1. I'm feeling a need to get back to organized meal planning also, as we gear up for "back to school" season. I will have a 5th grader and an 8th grader this year! I need to do a lot more crockpot cooking I think, in order to simplify our routine.

    1. Aisling, I remember those busy days! You're such an organized mom, am sure you'll have no trouble easing back into "school year mode." :)

  2. Hi Michele! The Thai one looks good and easy. Sometime, I should try that. :D
